How to Make Hyderabadi Bhuna Masala at Home (Traditional Recipe)
Ingredients
  • Chilli
  • Coriander seeds
  • Black pepper
  • Cumin seeds
  • Turmeric
  • Mustard seed
  • Sesame seeds
  • Fennel seeds
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon
  • Clove
  • Star anise seeds
  • Salt & Spices all in dry powder form
Method
  • Marinate your choice of protein with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and 2 tablespoons Galaji Hyderabadi Bhuna Masala. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add curry leaves and the marinated protein. Cook on high heat for 5-7 minutes.
  • Now, add the crushed fried onions. Lower the heat and keep stirring. If the masala sticks to the pan, add a teaspoon of water.
  • Cook till the oil seperates.
  • Garnish with fresh mint and a squeeze of lime. Serve with rumali roti or steamed rice.
