  • Salt & Spices all in dry powder form.

How to Make Methi Matar Malai at Home (Easy Recipe)
Ingredients
  • Skimmed Milk Powder
  • Sugar
  • Cashew Nuts
  • Cornflour
  • Watermelon Seeds
  • Coriander
  • Turmeric
  • Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi)
  • Green Chilli Powder
  • Salt & Spices all in dry powder form.
Method
  • Sauté 2 cups of chopped fresh Methi (fenugreek) leaves in a little ghee with a pinch of salt until they shrink and lose their raw bitterness.
  • Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp ghee and 1 cup of green peas.
  • Sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add a paste made of 10-12 soaked cashews, 1/2 cup water & 1.5 tbsp Galaji Methi Matar Malai Masala.
  • Add the sautéed methi and 1/2 cup fresh cream (or thick malai).
  • Simmer on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
  • for Onion/Garlic Lovers: Sauté a paste of 1 boiled onion and 1 tsp garlic paste in ghee until translucent (do not brown) before adding the cashew paste to keep the gravy white and rich.
