Ingredients
- Chilli
- coriander
- seeds
- sugar
- skimmed milk powder
- green chilli
- carom seeds
- kasuri methi
- Salt & Spices all in dry powder form.
Method
- Heat 2 tbsp oil/ghee.
- Add 1/2 tsp cumin and a pinch of mustard seeds.
- Add 1.5 cups of finely chopped tomatoes.
- Cook the tomatoes until they turn mushy and the oil starts to separate from the sides.
- Stir in 1.5 tbsp Galaji Sev Sabji Masala and a little salt.
- Add 1.5 cups of water and bring to a rolling boil.
- Just before serving, add 1 cup of thick Gathiya or Tikhi Sev to the boiling gravy.
- Do not cook the sev!
- Simply garnish with fresh coriander and serve immediately so the sev remains slightly crunchy.
- For Onion/Garlic Lovers: Sauté 1 large finely chopped onion and 1 tsp garlic paste in the oil until golden brown before adding the tomatoes
