- SPICES & HERBS. ALL IN DRY POWDER FORM. CONTAINS EDIBLE OIL (COTTON SEED OIL)
Method
- Prepare the Coating Batter: In a bowl, whisk together Besan (Gram flour), a pinch of turmeric, salt, and a dash of red chili powder. Consistency: Add water slowly until you have a thick, smooth batter that can coat the potatoes evenly.
- The Quick Tempering Heat: 1.5 tbsp of oil in a pan. Splutter: Add 1 tsp Mustard seeds and let them crackle to release their aroma. The Magic Ingredient: Add 2 Tablespoons of Galaji Mumbai Batata Vada Masala. Mix well for a few seconds on low heat to wake up the spices.
- The Filling Combine: Add 4-5 medium boiled and mashed potatoes to the pan. Incorporate: Mix thoroughly until the potatoes are completely coated in the golden masala. Shape: Let the mixture cool, then roll into uniform round balls.
- The Golden Fry Fry: Dip each potato ball into the prepared Besan batter and deep-fry in hot oil until they turn a beautiful, crisp golden-yellow. Take a fresh, soft Pav and slice it halfway.The Chutney Layer: Sprinkle a generous amount of Galaji Tasty Vada Pav Chutney Masala inside. The Spreads: Add a dollop of Galaji Spicy Green Chutney Mix and GSweet & Sour Chutney Mix for that perfect balance of heat and tang.
- Final Touch: Tuck the hot vada inside and serve immediately!
